Personal Care Assistance

     Description Personal care assistance is a service that assists a beneficiary with eating and meal preparation, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and activities of daily living. The service also includes activities such as assistance with meal preparation, bed making and vacuuming when these activities are essential to the health and welfare of the beneficiary and when no one else is available to perform them. This service is provided on a one-on-one basis.

Respite Care

     Description Respite care is a service that provides supportive care and supervision to a beneficiary when the primary caregiver is unable to perform these duties due to a planned brief absence, an emergency absence or when the caregiver is available, but temporarily physically unable to care for or supervise the beneficiary for a brief period.
